Our Story

Built for Record Integrity

Built for the legal reality of private-company equity — optimized for record integrity, not just visibility.

Our Mission

Most cap table tools are optimized for visibility. AegisIQ is optimized for record integrity. We built AegisIQ for teams that need equity records to stand up to scrutiny — with entity-level segregation, document-backed corporate actions, certificate lifecycle controls, role-based permissions, audit logging, and clear approval boundaries before execution.

Customer data remains customer-owned. AegisIQ is architected with entity-level data segregation — law firms and multi-entity operators manage each company in strict isolation. Every corporate action is document-backed before execution, and our immutable audit log records every actor, timestamp, and approval.

Our platform is designed to support governance-grade workflows under a Delaware-oriented legal posture. Every cap table view, report, and AI-generated answer is tied to an entity, an as-of timestamp, and underlying source records or approvals. When data has not been reviewed and attested recently, the system surfaces a visible compliance warning — so you always know how current your records are.

Customer Success

Your success is our success. We're committed to providing exceptional support and helping you achieve your goals.

Built by Practitioners, Not Generalists

AegisIQ was designed by people who have lived the problems the platform solves.

AegisIQ was designed by a team with direct experience in private company equity administration, US and international corporate law practice, corporate finance, and compliance software architecture. Our platform reflects decisions made by people who have managed stock ledgers, handled lost certificate recoveries, and navigated DGCL requirements firsthand — not engineers guessing at legal workflows.

Private Company Equity Administration

Hands-on experience managing stock ledgers, processing transfers, issuing certificates, and maintaining shareholder registries for private companies across multiple jurisdictions — including the edge cases no textbook covers.

US & International Corporate Law

Deep familiarity with Delaware General Corporation Law, DGCL Section 224 electronic ledger requirements, and the cross-border corporate governance obligations facing private companies operating across multiple legal frameworks.

Corporate Finance & Capital Markets

Practical experience structuring private placements, managing cap table implications of financing rounds, handling equity compensation administration, and preparing shareholder records for institutional scrutiny and due diligence.

Compliance Software Architecture

Background building audit-grade software for regulated industries — where immutability, access controls, and approval workflows are not features to add later, but architectural requirements that must be designed in from day one.

What this means in the platform

Approval gates exist because we know what happens when a transfer executes without board authorization
Lost certificate recovery is a first-class workflow because we have handled the affidavit and bond process in real transactions
Entity-scoped access is enforced at the API layer because we understand the liability exposure of cross-entity data bleed
Every cap table view is tied to an as-of date because we know point-in-time accuracy is what counsel and auditors actually need
AI answers cite source records and timestamps because we know that unsourced answers create liability, not efficiency
The audit log captures actor, timestamp, document reference, and approval chain because that is exactly what a Delaware court or SEC examiner will ask for

Growing our team
